I’m sure if you’ve been living in Bangkok or even visited, you would be familiar with Bangkok’s awesome mass transit systemm, the BTS Sky train and the MRT or subway.

They sure are convenient for many. Certainly makes my life a lot easier since I don’t drive (because I don’t want to, I mean, why would I want to be stuck in Bangkok traffic, right?).

We all have a voice in the back of our heads that tries to drive us crazy. The things this ‘inner critic’ say to us is ruthless. Nothing we do is ever good enough and nothing we’re trying to do will ever amount to much, according to this inner critic, we are perpetual failures. We will never be perfect, according to this ‘voice’ we hear in our heads. But where does this ‘voice’ come from and what is this about being ‘perfect’ anyway? Between perfect and work in progress, which one is better?

When things don’t go your way and coping with changes

This post wasn’t easy for me to write. It hits a few personal notes but I’d like to share this with you anyway.

I’ve been writing a lot in the past few years. It comes with the territory actually. I started working as a content writer then was promoted to a content manager for online financial products/services companies. That was 4 going on 5 years before a big change happened. I thought this would be a great time to settle into this role as my long-term career path and I was on my way to try to learn as much as I can to be able to do my job better.
