I guess another week had passed and it’s been interesting enough. This week I start working more on the ‘recycled project’ that I sort of accidentally start and it turned out kind of cool and so I made a few more this week which turned out kind of pretty cool if I do say so myself. What do you think?
This cup is definitely melting
Here’s the baby and the crow after they were turned into a rat and a fly with Zeneba’s magic from the animation, ‘Spirited Away’. One of my favorite cartoon!
This is cat in the box. This painting is already reserved. That’s one of the awesomest feeling for a practicing artist like me!
This is another one of my ‘recycled project’. The skin color was actually tricky. I had to fix it a few times so it kind of didn’t turn out right. I’m painting on a normal 80 grams copy paper so it’s not exactly as absorbing as watercolor paper. I had to work really quickly.
This one here took me about 3-4 days to complete. It’s an A4 size on canson 120 grams sketchbook paper. I used a combination of Caran d’ache and Prisma color pencils and they work just great! I’m gearing towards getting a new set of Prisma color pencils but it’s hard to find in Thailand.
This is another of the ‘recycled project’ for the Valentine’s Day of course.
Just finished this one after work today chilling in a coffee shop before I head home. If you didn’t notice, it’s an attempt to paint what I see and line it up with the scene thing. Not a very good likeness but like I always say, practice makes better work!
Until next time, have a great week!
